The situation of arbitrary leveling and encroachment on agricultural land, traffic safety corridors (ATGT) and dike protection corridors is being strengthened and handled by localities in Hung Yen province.
On September 3, Hung Ha Commune People's Committee, Hung Yen province inspected and handled 3 households in Thuong Ngan village including: Mr. D. V. D's household, Mr. D. X. N's household and Ms. D. T. M's household for not complying with the request to remedy land violations.
In which, Mr. D. V. D and Mr. D. X. N's households poured concrete and built on rice land; Ms. D. T. M's household poured soil and leveled the irrigation ditch area, although the local government had previously made a record, propagated and requested to restore the status quo.
Previously, in Dong Chau commune, functional forces discovered a number of violations. Specifically, Mr. N.V.T (Tien Chau village) arbitrarily filled 66.5m2 of traffic safety corridor land to pour concrete yards and alleys connected to DT. 464 route, built a fence about 1m high and installed a net gate.
Also in Tien Chau village, Mr. T.X. B had acts of leveling the traffic safety corridor, pouring yards, erecting box steel frames, firing 3-sided corrugated iron sheets, and roofing with corrugated iron sheets about 4.5m high to make a car parking shack.
Another case is that Mr. N.V.Q leveled land in the traffic safety corridor of DT. 464 route, and also placed a container with a door to hold fine art wooden furniture and worship items to serve business activities.
According to information from the Economic Department of Dong Chau commune, DT. 464 route passing through the commune is more than 4km long, and has just been invested in expansion according to the standard of level IV delta road with a total investment of more than 80 billion VND. Immediately after detecting violations, the Commune People's Committee sent a working group to inspect, make records and request households to voluntarily dismantle the violating works.
After being propagated, mobilized and urged, households mobilized workers and machinery to dismantle all illegally installed works and items in the traffic safety corridor, and at the same time restore the ground.
Not only handling violations on DT. 464 route, Dong Chau Commune People's Committee also discovered 2 cases in Dong Hoang Bac and Ngai Chau villages with acts of leveling and changing the land surface for rice cultivation, building warehouses on agricultural land.
In Thai Binh ward, Hung Yen province, previously, the People's Committee of Thai Binh ward organized coercion to force the implementation of remedial measures for 4 households in Tu Linh residential group and Nhat Tan residential group due to illegal construction of works on agricultural land.
Accordingly, 4 households in Tu Linh residential group and Nhat Tan residential group, Thai Binh ward, arbitrarily changed the land use purpose of rice land to non-agricultural land to build houses, corrugated iron shacks and other auxiliary items without permission from competent authorities. The total area of violating land of the 4 households is more than 800m2.
