As the most important and large-scale project in Thai Nguyen mountain town and accompanied by a sign welcoming the Provincial Party Congress, the Dai Thang social housing project is entering the final stages of completion. The adjacent buildings and high-rise apartment buildings have gradually taken shape, expected to be handed over in October 2025.
According to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, the internal infrastructure system such as roads, lighting and basic utilities has been completed.
Inside the 18-storey building, workers are rushing to install equipment, paint and clean to prepare for handover. The apartments are designed with a focus on ventilation, lighting, and ensuring living space.
According to the investor, the project is being implemented on an area of over 11 hectares, with a total investment of over 700 billion VND. Of which, nearly 1ha is for the adjacent area of 34 2-storey apartments, next to the 18-storey apartment building with 361 apartments, accommodating about 800 people.
The project location is close to the Thai Nguyen - Hanoi expressway, near industrial parks, hospitals, schools, convenient for travel and living.
Mr. Nguyen Canh Hung - the supervisor of the Project Management Board said that this is a project of great significance for low-income workers in the area. The prices of apartments range from over 300 million VND for an area of 25m2 to about 800 million VND for a 70m2 apartment, the price is considered suitable, creating opportunities for many workers to own a house.
Mr. Vi Van Huy (Tuyen Quang), a worker at Diem Thuy Industrial Park, said that when he heard that Dai Thang social housing project was being built right near his workplace, he and many colleagues were looking forward to the project being completed and opened for sale soon.
Many other workers also believe that the price of over 300 - 800 million VND is suitable for the conditions of workers, especially when supported with preferential policies. With this cost, they not only escape the rental situation but also have the opportunity to own a spacious apartment, near their workplace. That helps workers stabilize their lives soon.
Mr. Bui Van Luong - Vice Chairman of Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee emphasized that Dai Thang social housing project not only contributes to solving the housing needs of workers but also creates a highlight in the urban development of the locality. This is also a practical contribution to the goal of building 1 million social housing units in the period of 2021 - 2030 according to the Government's orientation.
