In November 2025, Thai Nguyen province will conduct a series of auctions for land use rights in Tich Luong and Phu Binh areas.
These are large-scale auctions with hundreds of completed residential and infrastructure plots, considered an important resource to increase budget revenue and strengthen land management in the direction of publicity and transparency.
In Tich Luong ward (central area of Thai Nguyen province), many urban plots of land in residential areas 1, 2, 3 and expanded areas are being auctioned with areas ranging from 139.2m2 to 187m2, starting price from over 3 billion to nearly 4.7 billion VND per plot.
These areas have synchronous infrastructure and convenient locations, so it is expected to attract a large number of participants. In Phu Binh commune, the locality continues to implement the second round of auctioning 106 land lots in Urban Area No. 5.
The plots of land are located on roads from 15 to 24m wide, with an area of 100m2 to 342m2 with starting prices ranging from 900 million to more than 2.6 billion VND/plot, suitable for many different needs of people and investors.

To limit the situation of "blue army - red army", the regulations clearly stipulate that couples and siblings are not allowed to register to auction the same plot of land.
The auctions will take place in the form of indirect voting, participants send bids by post before the opening day of the auction - a form that is assessed to help increase objectivity, reduce the risk of external impact.
In Tich Luong ward, documents and deposits were received from November 10 to 24, the auction took place at 9:00 a.m. on December 27 at the Ward People's Committee Hall.
In Phu Binh commune, the time to receive documents is from November 14 to 26, the auction takes place at 2:00 p.m. on November 29 at the Comprehensive Service Center of the commune.
The organizing committee noted that the documents must be declared correctly, with absolute consistency between the registration form, payment form and the content of the deposit transfer; just the wrong land lot symbol can be removed.
The deposit is equal to 20% of the starting price, and must be paid separately for each plot of land. The bidding document must clearly state the number - words, the minimum payment level is equal to the starting price plus one price step according to regulations.
The auction winner is responsible for fulfilling financial obligations within 1015 days from the date of receipt of notification from the tax authority.
All information about the land plot, starting price, and auction regulations have been publicly posted on the National Electronic Information Portal on Property Auction and the website of Viet Bac Joint Stock Auction Company.
The organization of land auctions by Thai Nguyen with a tightening and transparent process is expected to contribute to limiting loss of public assets, while creating conditions for people to access plots of land in good locations to serve housing needs and develop the economy.
