This auction is expected to be held on December 25, at the headquarters of the Hanoi Land Fund Development Center.
According to the announcement of the organizing unit, the auctioned land is 3,366 m2 wide, located at 18 Cao Ba Quat, Ba Dinh ward (formerly Dien Bien ward, Ba Dinh district).
The land will implement a 5-star hotel project, with a maximum height of 6 floors, with a total floor area of over 15,900 m2.
The starting price in the first round of the auction is 201.7 million VND per square meter, equivalent to 679 billion VND. The minimum price for the next round is 2 million VND per m2, equivalent to about 6.73 billion VND for the entire land plot. This auction must go through at least 3 rounds.


The total estimated investment for the hotel project in 18 Cao Ba Quat is at least VND911.3 billion, including VND679 billion for land auction start-up and VND232 billion for construction costs.
The auction participating unit must deposit 20% of the total starting value of the land, equivalent to VND 135.8 billion.
According to records, the entrance to the land at 18 Cao Ba Quat Street is being locked. This land was once the Environmental Sanitation Service Operation Center (Hanoi Urban Environment Company Limited).




In addition to the above land, in the last days of 2025, Hanoi will also auction a number of other large land plots.
On December 27, a land plot of about 5.72 hectares in the Dong Xenh - Vuon gan area, Quang Oai commune (old Ba Vi) was auctioned.
This land is planned synchronously, in addition to the area for building low-rise housing, social housing is also for building public works, planting trees, sports space and technical infrastructure.
According to the plan, the land has 1.7 hectares of residential land to be auctioned to build low-rise houses. The total starting price is more than 479 billion VND. The auction is conducted by direct voting in multiple rounds and a minimum of 3 mandatory rounds.
On the same day, Phu Dien Ward People's Committee plans to auction the land plot marked CT in the resettlement area adjacent to Phu Dien Street. The land has an area of over 14,350m2, of which nearly 6,500m2 of land was auctioned to implement a low-rise housing project.
The starting price is nearly 713 billion VND, equivalent to about 110 million VND/m2. Participating investors must deposit 143 billion VND in advance. The auction is also conducted through many rounds, with a minimum of 5 mandatory rounds.
