On April 22, the Department of Construction of Binh Dinh province announced that the Provincial People's Committee has just issued a decision to adjust and supplement the Housing Development Plan of Binh Dinh province for the period 2020 - 2025.
According to this plan, the whole province has 756 housing development projects with a total land use area of nearly 9,730 hectares. This adjustment and supplementation focuses on commercial housing projects, residential areas, and urban areas.
Of which, there are 573 commercial housing projects, urban areas and residential areas, with an area of over 8,679 hectares; 148 resettlement housing projects with an area of over 956 hectares and 33 social housing projects with an area of nearly 93 hectares.
In Quy Nhon City, the number of projects increased from 87 to 91, with a land use area of over 1,957 hectares. Adding many large-scale urban areas located in Nhon Hoi commune in the urban area east of Thi Nai lagoon such as Urban Area 02 (32.95ha), Urban Area 04 (26.96ha), Urban Area 05 (21.64ha), along with the central residential area of Nhon Hai commune (14.47ha).
The development of new projects in the area east of Thi Nai lagoon continues to affirm the orientation of expanding urban space towards the sea of Quy Nhon.
Phu My district also increased from 100 to 102 projects, with an area of over 1,814 hectares. Notably, two large-scale resettlement area projects have been added in My An and My Tho communes to serve Phu My Industrial Park and neighboring projects, with a total area of nearly 70 hectares.
Phu Cat district adjusted from 129 to 136 projects, with an area of over 1,601 hectares. The new projects are mainly coastal urban areas, including Cat Tien Coastal Tourism Urban Area, Nam Cat Tien Urban Area and new residential areas in Cat Khanh town.
Tuy Phuoc district increased from 33 to 35 projects, with an area of nearly 951 hectares. Two large urban areas were added in Phuoc Quang commune (80ha) and Phuoc Son commune (14ha), contributing to creating a development momentum for the eastern area of this district.
Hoai Nhon town also has an adjustment to increase from 79 to 86 projects, with an area of nearly 970 hectares, clearly reflecting the urbanization shift in the Northern region of the province.
Meanwhile, three localities have adjusted down the number of projects including An Nhon town (there are still 55 projects, an area of nearly 789ha), Tay Son district (there are still 25 projects, an area of over 39ha) and Vinh Thanh district (there are still 8 projects, an area of 24.4ha). The other three localities including Hoai An, An Lao and Van Canh keep the number of projects at 22, 9 and 6 projects respectively.
