64 commercial housing projects have been approved for investment and are being implemented in Hung Yen province with a total land area of 2,317 hectares, 121,138 apartments, and commercial housing. The total construction floor area of the projects reached more than 20.8 million m2. The implementation of commercial housing projects contributes to promoting the development of urban infrastructure, meeting the increasingly high housing needs of the people, while creating momentum for the province's real estate market to develop sustainably.
In Decision No. 489/QD-TTg dated June 10, 2024 of the Prime Minister approving the planning of Hung Yen province for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050, the southern economic region of the province will develop urban areas, science - technology, services, tourism and high-tech industry; the reserve area promotes the core values of the ancient Hanoi Foothills; rich in the cultural identity of the center of the Red River Delta.
The Northern region develops urban and industrial areas associated with the capital Hanoi, Noi Bai International Airport, important national and international economic corridor axes and international gateway seaports.
The three central urban areas are clearly identified as: Hung Yen City, Van Giang Urban Area and My Hao Urban Area; in which, Hung Yen City is the political, economic, cultural, tourism, education - training, science - technology... center of the province.
