Implementing Resolution No. 09-NQ/TU dated June 15, 2021 of the Executive Committee of the Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee, term XIX, on the Program for restructuring the agricultural sector in conjunction with the construction of advanced new rural areas and model new rural areas in Hung Yen province for the period 2021-2025, with a vision to 2030, the Party committees and authorities at all levels in Hung Yen province have developed specific action plans and programs on building advanced new rural areas and model new rural areas and achieved many outstanding results.
Currently, the whole province has 508 agricultural production models certified with VietGAP and VietGAHP standards. Of which, there are 342 cultivation models (area of over 4,200 hectares) meeting VietGAP standards; 143 livestock models (including over 3.5 million livestock, 5,100 beehives), 23 aquaculture models meeting VietGAHP standards. Along with that, the province has granted organic agricultural production certificates to 3 rice production units with an area of 10 hectares and 2 hectares of vegetables and fruits.
Hung Yen province promotes and encourages land accumulation and concentration to produce goods according to the value chain, transfer, and apply advanced science and technology to production.
