Previously, thanks to promoting and encouraging the concentration of land to produce goods according to the value chain, transferring, and applying advanced science and technology to production, each year Hung Yen province allocates tens of billions of VND to demonstrate, experiment, and select many new varieties of crops and livestock with high productivity, quality and economic efficiency... The locality actively applies information technology in quality management, product traceability...
Regarding production organization, by 2024, Hung Yen province has 390 agricultural cooperatives and 556 agricultural cooperative groups in operation. Cooperatives and cooperative groups play an important role in implementing the One Commune One Product Program; implementing the Project " Maintaining and developing the HY. check.net electronic information system" to trace the origin of agricultural, forestry and fishery products to ensure food safety.
By the end of 2024, Hung Yen will have 252 OCOP products, of which 206 products will be rated 3 stars and 46 products will be rated 4 stars. The traceability system has posted information of 379 establishments, with 900 agricultural, forestry and fishery products; helping to build a database of participating units, to provide the fastest accurate information, creating trust with consumers.
