According to the plan, the groundbreaking ceremony will be held on June 28 at 2 locations including Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park (Thai Thuy commune) and Pho Hien ward.
At Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park, the province will start construction of rental housing under the Housing Project and the Social Housing Project of Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park under the Hung Yen Provincial Economic Zone. This is a project to meet the accommodation and housing needs of workers working in industrial parks and economic zones in the area.
In Pho Hien ward, the groundbreaking ceremony will be held for the rental housing project under the Pho Hien ward social housing project.
The organization of the groundbreaking ceremony aims to concretize the direction of General Secretary and President To Lam on orientations for social housing development in the coming time, and at the same time implement the conclusion of Prime Minister Le Minh Hung at the meeting on housing development for rent in Hai Phong city and Quang Ninh, Bac Ninh, Ninh Binh, Hung Yen provinces.
According to Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee, this is an important event, contributing to creating new momentum for socio-economic development of the province after the merger. The projects are expected to form social housing areas, rental housing synchronously in terms of technical infrastructure, social infrastructure, associated with key industrial parks and strategic development areas of the province.
In addition to meeting the housing needs of workers, the projects also contribute to enhancing the attractiveness of the investment environment, attracting businesses, promoting socio-economic development, towards the goal of double-digit growth in 2026 and the following years.
The Provincial People's Committee requests that the groundbreaking ceremony be organized solemnly, economically, effectively, ensuring security and order, traffic safety and close coordination between relevant agencies and units. Projects are only allowed to be started when they fully meet the conditions according to the provisions of law on construction, land and related regulations.
