Speaking at the working session, Mr. Nguyen Van Sinh acknowledged and highly appreciated the proactiveness of Hung Yen province in developing plans and roadmaps for social housing development. He requested the province to continue to pay attention to allocating land funds for social housing and worker accommodation in industrial zones and clusters; strengthen inspection and urging of the construction progress of projects being implemented; and at the same time review and assess the current situation to promptly adjust appropriately, especially for large-scale projects.
Along with that, the province needs to proactively prepare conditions to soon start construction of projects under the 2027 target; flexibly apply new mechanisms and policies to create favorable conditions in resolving investment procedures.
Regarding difficulties in the source of construction materials, Mr. Nguyen Van Sinh proposed that localities proactively take measures to ensure supply for construction. Regarding the recommendations and proposals of localities and businesses, the Ministry of Construction will record and summarize them to report to the Government for consideration.
On behalf of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Hung Nam - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - received the directing opinions of the Deputy Minister and the working delegation; and affirmed that Hung Yen continues to identify social housing development as a key task to ensure social security and stabilize people's lives, especially workers in industrial parks.
