Bac Ninh Provincial Department of Construction has just publicly announced the sale of social housing at the Thong Nhat Smart City social housing area construction investment project (phase 2 in 2026).
This project has a construction scale including: social housing area, adjacent houses, commercial works, public works (cultural houses, health stations, schools), auxiliary items and technical infrastructure system on a land area of more than 8.5ha, in Yen Trung and Tam Da communes, Bac Ninh province.
The project includes 10 building blocks, a total of 1048 social housing apartments, expected to be completed and put into operation overall in December this year.
In this phase, the investor opened for sale 809 apartments, with diverse areas from 50 - 70m2.
Regarding the selling price, the apartment is usually 16,442,701 VND/m2; the corner apartment is 16,771,555 VND/m2; the apartment next to the stairs is 16,113,847 VND/m2. The above selling price includes 5% VAT and 2% maintenance costs.

According to reporters' records, the Thong Nhat Smart City project is located 200 m from Yen Phong industrial park, 10 km from Bac Ninh city (old), 19 km from Noi Bai airport and 30 km from the center of Hanoi City.
This project was once honored to be visited by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh in July 2023. Here, the Prime Minister requested to take Bac Ninh province as a model for social housing development, and replicate it nationwide.
It is known that Bac Ninh is one of the leading localities in the country in terms of social housing development results. In 2025, the province completed nearly 20,000 social housing units, accounting for about 20% of the country's total supply.
In 2026, Bac Ninh is assigned a target of 19,000 units, higher than Hanoi, but the province sets a target to continue to complete over 20,000 units.
Currently, the construction of social housing in Bac Ninh province continues to take place strongly and comprehensively across all subjects.
