According to published information, the project is identified to invest in building social housing in land plots E1-OM-1 and E1-OM-2 in Bac Cam Ranh ward with a total area of about 4.58ha.
The project belongs to the Project on Adjusting the 1/2,000 scale zoning plan in a part of Cam Nghia, Cam Phuc Bac wards and a part of Cam Thanh Nam commune, Cam Ranh city previously.
The project will build a new complete social housing area, synchronously equipped with technical infrastructure; providing housing products for subjects entitled to social housing policies according to legal regulations.
Notably, the land is currently being used by people and has not been recovered. The total expected recovered land area is about 4.58ha, involving about 54 households. Compensation, support and resettlement costs are estimated at about 87 billion VND.
The total estimated investment of the project is 1,827.104 billion VND.
Regarding progress, the project is expected to be completed within 2 years from the date of land allocation, at the latest by the end of 2030 to complete the entire project and put it into use according to regulations.
Investors interested in submitting dossiers according to the provisions of Decree No. 192/2025/ND-CP dated July 1, 2025 of the Government. The deadline for receiving dossiers is 30 days from the date the decision is signed and promulgated.
Dossiers are received at the headquarters of the Department of Construction, No. 4 Phan Chu Trinh, Nha Trang ward, in two forms: directly or by post.
After the deadline for information disclosure ends, the Department of Construction will receive dossiers requesting investment policy approval and assign investors; preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies to organize appraisal and select investors according to regulations.
If only one investor submits a dossier and meets the conditions according to regulations, the Department of Construction will organize appraisal and submit it to the Provincial People's Committee for decision to approve the investment policy and assign it to the investor.
In case there are two or more investors submitting dossiers and meeting the requirements, the Department of Construction will organize an assessment according to the criteria and priority order specified to submit to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and decision.
The Department of Finance, Department of Agriculture and Environment, Bac Cam Ranh Ward People's Committee and relevant agencies are responsible for coordinating in the process of appraising dossiers, selecting investors and implementing projects.
By June 2026, Khanh Hoa has 13 social housing projects, with a total area of about 114.4ha, a scale of 20,008 units, with a total investment of about 30,342 billion VND.
According to the assigned target, by 2030, Khanh Hoa must complete 10,088 social housing units. About 20% of the total number of units, equivalent to 2,100 units, will be arranged in the form of rental housing and worker accommodation, serving workers who do not yet meet the conditions to buy houses.
The announcement of an additional project in Bac Cam Ranh contributes to supplementing the land fund for social housing development, in the context that Khanh Hoa is implementing the goal of increasing the supply of housing for low-income people and workers in the area.
