On August 18, a working delegation led by Mr. Trinh Minh Hoang - Provincial Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee - inspected the progress of site clearance for the Tac River downstream management project - phase II.
The Tac River downstream management project - phase II has a total investment of 600 billion VND from the State budget.
The project includes main items such as dredging and clearing the flood drainage flow from Tac River bridge to Binh Tan bridge, with a length of about 7,158m; building a dike, embankment to protect the riverbank slope and a management corridor along the right bank about 4,028m long.
The project also builds drainage systems, auxiliary works, lighting systems and related items.
According to reports, to date, units have inventoried 134/143 land plots affected by the project; verified the origin of 33 land plots.
The project was started on March 6, 2026. Units are constructing section C39-C45, km3+567-Km4+044.
The clearance work reached about 5%; leveling the component casting yard reached 66%. The contractor is deploying drainage culvert items, dyke body embankment, corrugated iron paving, stone cages, dredging and drainage.
After listening to reports from units and opinions from members of the working delegation, Mr. Trinh Minh Hoang requested the Khanh Hoa Land Fund Development Center - the unit implementing site clearance for the project - to closely coordinate with the People's Committee of Nam Nha Trang ward to accelerate the implementation progress.
After completing the inventory, units need to focus on mobilizing people to hand over the site soon to serve construction, before deploying the next steps according to regulations.
Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee requested to strive to complete the preparation and listing of compensation and support plans by mid-September 2026.
In the process of implementation, units need to promptly report to the Provincial People's Committee on arising difficulties and obstacles for consideration and direction in resolving, ensuring project progress.
