On September 9, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province announced that it had implemented the Project "Investing in the construction of at least 1 million social housing apartments for low-income people and industrial park workers in the period of 2021 - 2030" in the area.
Currently, the locality is aiming to promptly and effectively implement tasks, objectives and solutions according to the Project "Investing in the construction of at least 1 million social housing apartments for low-income people and industrial park workers in the period of 2021 - 2030" approved by the Prime Minister.
In particular, Khanh Hoa province requires to specifically define the work content and responsibilities of departments, branches, sectors; People's Committees of districts, cities and related organizations and units in implementing the tasks, goals and solutions of the Project; attaching the responsibility of heads of agencies and units in organizing the implementation of the Project in the province.
In addition, the departments shall review legal regulations on housing and land, complete the legal basis under their authority, and promote administrative procedure reform related to investment in the construction of social housing and workers' housing; in which, it is necessary to review and adjust the Housing Development Program, housing development plan, planning, and land use plan (if any) to suit the requirements of implementing the Government's Project.
In particular, departments and branches need to speed up the progress of establishing and approving construction planning projects in Khanh Hoa province, as a basis for implementing project investment procedures and publicly announcing investment attraction projects, encouraging economic sectors to participate.
Implementing the Government's Project, the Ministry of Construction allocated a target for Khanh Hoa province to complete 7,800 units (phase 2021 - 2030) at the same time, along with implementing the Housing Development Program of Khanh Hoa province phase 2021 - 2030. Accordingly, the target is 3,400 units in phase 2021 - 2025 and 4,400 units in phase 2026 - 2030.
