On December 19, 2025, in Van Don Special Zone, Everland Van Don Joint Stock Company (a member of Everland Group) solemnly held the Inauguration Ceremony and installed a signboard "Work to celebrate the 14th National Congress of the Party" for Phase 1 of Crystal Holidays Harbour Van Don Tourism, Resort and Entertainment Complex (A-B Tower).
This is one of more than 200 typical projects and works across the country that were held at the inauguration ceremony and started construction to celebrate the 14th National Congress of the Party. The event was attended by representatives of leaders of central ministries and branches, leaders of Quang Ninh province, and Van Don Special Zone.
New resort center of Van Don Special Zone
Crystal Holidays Harbour Van Don is the largest high-end resort and entertainment complex in Van Don today with a total investment of over VND 5,600 billion. The project includes 5 hotel towers - resort apartments from 28-34 floors and 01 1,500-seat International Convention Center building with a separate closed utility service system, from shopping malls, restaurants, cinemas, infinity pool, four-season swimming pool, yacht, natural beaches, etc.
Phase 1 of the project will put into operation the A-B Tower with nearly 1,000 5-star rooms. The technical infrastructure items, landscape, trade - service, F&B, ... have also been completed synchronously, fully meeting the project operation requirements according to international standards.
The accommodation system is designed in a luxurious Neo-classic style, sophisticatedly combining aesthetic elements, functionality and resort experience. The room structure is very diverse, from rooms such as Deluxe, Hollywood Deluxe, Family Suite, Grand Deluxe to Sky Villa, President Suite with its own swimming pool... helping the project to meet all needs of tourists. In particular, thanks to its prime location on both sides of the sea, most of the project's rooms have a direct view of Bai Tu Long Bay, giving visitors the experience of "resorting in the middle of the sea and islands".
The project is managed and operated by Centara Hotels & Resorts - an international hotel management brand under Central Group, with experience in operating many 5-star resort complexes in Asia. This is a factor that ensures that the project is operated methodically and professionally, constantly improving service quality and enhancing the experience of tourists.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Dinh Vinh - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Everland Group, representative of the investor emphasized: "The project is not only a new symbol of Van Don tourism, but also a testament to the vision, determination and strong commitment of the investor to the development future of Van Don". Mr. Vinh also affirmed that the investor will always accompany the local government and community in the goal of tourism development, harmonizing economic - social - environmental benefits, for the future of green, clean, beautiful, friendly and sustainable Van Don tourism.
The " momentum" of developing local tourism infrastructure
According to the Department of Tourism of Quang Ninh province, in the first 10 months of 2025, the whole province welcomed more than 18.43 million visitors, an increase of 21% over the same period. The number of visitors to Van Don in the period alone is estimated at nearly 2 million, far exceeding the set target. The sharp increase in the number of tourists is putting great pressure on the accommodation system, especially in the high-end segment. The operation of Crystal Holidays Harbour Van Don Phase 1 is considered the "right time", contributing to reducing supply pressure for the tourism market during the peak season.
Not the focus of accommodation facilities, Crystal Holidays Harbour Van Don is also expected to become a new destination for MICE guests, group guests and long-term family guests thanks to a complete utility service system, thereby contributing to improving the ability to receive and serve tourists of Van Don destination in the overall tourism picture of the country and the region. Operating a large-scale tourism complex will also promote sectors such as F&B, transportation, trade, sea tours, event services and local products. This creates a spread of the direct supply chain: more service businesses participate in the market, new jobs are created, local product groups have more opportunities to reach tourists according to higher standards. Therefore, related service sectors such as accommodation, food, trade, logistics and experiential tourism in Van Don will have more development momentum.
The inauguration event of the Crystal Holidays Harbour Van Don project will therefore be a new development milestone for Van Don tourism in particular and tourism in Quang Ninh province.
