On May 9, Chuong My Ward People's Committee (Hanoi) had information on the progress of site clearance (GPMB) for the project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 6, Ba La - Xuan Mai section.
The project passing through Chuong My ward is 3.658km long, with a total recovered area of about 21.1ha with 814 land plots belonging to the old Bien Giang ward, old Chuc Son town and old Tien Phuong commune.
Up to now, site clearance work has achieved many positive results.
Chuong My ward has approved a compensation plan to support the relocation of the electricity system with a budget of more than 10.7 billion VND; and at the same time approved many compensation plans for residential land, agricultural land, and production and business land in Son Dong, Cao Son, Phuong Bai residential groups... Many areas have completed land origin confirmation, inventory, appraisal and compensation payment to households.
However, there are still 617/814 land plots that have not completed site clearance. Units are focusing on completing dossiers, publicizing draft compensation plans, organizing mandatory inventory, confirming land origin and completing land recovery procedures in May 2026.
The implementation process still faces many difficulties and obstacles such as: Lack of resettlement land fund; difficulties in determining the origin and limit of residential land; obstacles related to flood drainage corridors; contents related to auctioned land in the old Bien Giang ward and the area of Phuong Bai Church land. Some contents have been considered for removal by the City People's Committee according to Notice No. 359/TB-VP dated May 1, 2026.

Mr. Trinh Duy Oai - Chairman of Chuong My Ward People's Committee affirmed that the local government always accompanies and protects the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of the people; and at the same time requested the Hanoi Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board to soon deploy construction on the completed land clearance areas to create a spillover effect and promote project progress.
For the remaining areas, units need to continue to closely coordinate with local authorities to complete inventory, compensation payments, and resettlement support, helping people soon stabilize their lives.
Mr. Trinh Duy Oai also requested the team of officials and party members to continue to set an example and hand over the site, creating consensus among the people so that the project can be implemented on schedule.
