Tu Minh Ward People's Committee, Hai Phong City is strengthening propaganda, inspection and strictly handling cases of using agricultural land for improper purposes according to the provisions of law.
Through actual inspection in the Cua Chua field area, Ha Xa residential group, the ward's functional forces discovered a case of arbitrarily digging ditches on rice land to serve other production purposes without permission from competent authorities.
Immediately after discovering the incident, the Ward People's Committee organized working sessions, propaganda, and dissemination of the provisions of the Land Law; and at the same time requested households to seriously comply with regulations on using land for the right purpose, and urgently restore the original state of the violating land area.

At the working session, related households said that because the cultivated area is frequently flooded, they have a need to convert production models to improve economic efficiency. However, after being propagated and explained about the provisions of the law, the household has realized the violations and committed to strictly complying with the requirements of the local government.
Representatives of the Ward Urban Order Management Team said that as soon as the incident was discovered, functional forces requested to immediately stop the violating activities, prepare a dossier to report to the Ward People's Committee for handling according to regulations. Ha Xa residential group also actively coordinated to propagate and mobilize people to properly implement the provisions of land law.
By May 7, households had completed the restoration of the original state of the violating land area as requested by functional agencies. Strict compliance with the provisions of law shows the spirit of coordination and responsibility of people in the management and use of land in the locality.
In the coming time, Tu Minh Ward People's Committee will continue to strengthen inspection of the area, promote propaganda on land laws, promptly detect and handle violations, contributing to improving the efficiency of management and use of agricultural land in the area.
