On the evening of May 7, Dien Bien province organized incense offering and lantern offering to commemorate heroic martyrs at the Dien Bien Phu Battlefield Martyrs' Temple and National Martyrs' Cemetery A1.
From 6:30 PM, at the Dien Bien Phu Battlefield Martyrs Temple, in a solemn atmosphere, delegates expressed their respect, offered fresh flowers, lit incense sticks, and expressed gratitude to the outstanding children of the nation, who have glorified the country and the country.


The delegates observed a minute of silence, respectfully wishing the spirits of the heroic martyrs and compatriots who sacrificed at the Dien Bien Phu Battlefield to rest in eternal peace; blessing and protecting national peace and prosperity; the country of Vietnam to be eternal, rich and strong; Dien Bien province to become increasingly developed.
Next, the delegation moved to National Martyrs' Cemetery A1 to organize a ceremony to pay respects, burn incense, and offer lanterns.


To be worthy of the sacrifices of the heroic martyrs, the delegates vowed to constantly strive to build Vietnam to become increasingly rich, prosperous, and happy. The delegates also burned incense at the Memorial, and at the same time, offered incense and placed lanterns at each martyr's grave.
Prominent at the ceremony was the large participation of the young generation, the Dien Bien Provincial Youth Union coordinated with the Department of Education and Training to mobilize more than 650 youth union members and students at the Dien Bien Phu Battlefield Martyrs Temple and National Martyrs' Cemetery A1.
And over 500 monks, nuns, Buddhists of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Dien Bien province, along with local people and pilgrims from all directions participated.


Participating in offering incense, Ms. Lo Thi Huyen (Dien Bien Phu ward) - said: "Standing in front of the spirits of heroic martyrs, I feel extremely proud and grateful. The flower lanterns tonight are not only a tribute, but also a promise of today's generation to the sacrifice of our ancestors.




At the same time as A1 Cemetery, ceremonies of visitation, burning incense, and offering lanterns were also held simultaneously at martyrs' cemeteries: Doc Lap, Tong Khao and Him Lam.
At each location, provincial leaders and delegates attending performed incense offering ceremonies, observed a minute of silence, and lit candles of gratitude at the martyrs' graves.

In parallel with activities at martyrs' cemeteries, the lantern releasing program is organized on the banks of the Nam Rom River, Muong Thanh bridge area. With the participation of functional forces, youth union members, students and a large number of people and tourists.
