On November 6, the People's Committee of Phu Thuy Ward (Lam Dong Province) said that the unit had coordinated with functional forces to complete the enforcement and force the implementation of remedial measures for the land area encroached by Ms. Tran Thi Thuy in the area.
According to the decision, Ms. Thuy has occupied more than 77,221m2 of land (equivalent to more than 7.7ha) managed by the Lam Dong Provincial Land Fund Development Center, affecting land management.

This land is located along Vo Nguyen Giap Street - the road leading to Mui Ne Sea, within the scope of the Ham Tien - Mui Ne New Urban, Commercial and Service Area Project (Area I).
According to the issued decision, Ms. Tran Thi Thuy was forced to restore the land to its original state, return the land to the State and return nearly VND900 million in illegal profits from administrative violations.

Before carrying out the enforcement, the local authorities and functional forces had repeatedly mobilized and requested Ms. Thuy's family to voluntarily dismantle the illegal construction, but she did not comply.
Therefore, the authorities have organized the demolition of illegal construction items, relocation of crops on encroached land to restore the original state.
After completion, the parties made a record and handed over the compulsory land area to the Lam Dong Provincial Land Fund Development Center for management according to regulations.

The enforcement and restoration of the existing status of the land along Vo Nguyen Giap Street demonstrates the determination of local authorities in land management and use.
This is also a necessary step to facilitate the implementation of urban projects, coastal trade and service in the coming time.
