Da Nang - After administrative merger, Da Nang City is a destination to attract investment capital, especially in the industrial real estate segment.

According to statistics from Da Nang City, from the beginning of the year to August 20, 2025, the city attracted VND 140,470 billion in total domestic investment capital (of which 72 projects were newly granted with VND 46,023 billion); attracted 307.3 million USD in FDI capital, an increase of 4.6% over the same period in 2024 (of which, 65 projects were newly granted, with registered capital of more than 200 million USD); Da Nang City currently has 1,263 FDI projects with a total investment capital of more than 10.9 billion USD.

Notably, at the end of August 2025, Truong Hai Group (THACO) held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Chu Lai Automobile Mechanical Industrial Park expansion, planned on an area of 115 hectares with a total investment of nearly VND 8,000 billion (of which VND 1,433 billion is for infrastructure construction), connecting mechanical products and spare parts from the existing factories of the enterprise in Chu Lai.

Previously, Da Nang City launched the Project to invest in the construction and business of infrastructure of Hoa Ninh Industrial Park (scale of 421 hectares) with a total capital of VND 6,204 billion.

One of the projects that Da Nang City is most looking forward to is the Free Trade Zone with a scale of 1,881 hectares.

This FTZ will simplify customs procedures, apply attractive tax incentives and closely integrate with Lien Chieu Port and the High-Tech Zone, to form an ecosystem linking production, export and logistics.

The Lien Chieu deep-water port area, expected to be completed in 2025, is an important link in the logistics network of the Central region.

Many experts assess that Lien Chieu port will help reduce the overload of Tien Sa port, while also being responsible for transporting large volumes of goods from the Central Highlands, Laos and Northeast Thailand.

The multi-modal connection with logistics corridors will promote the efficiency of supply chain operations in the whole region, creating momentum for industrial real estate development.

At the conference "Meeting Korea in Da Nang: Opportunity to enhance cooperation between Da Nang and Korean partners" within the framework of the Vietnam - Korea Festival in August 2025, Mr. Doan Ngoc Hung Anh - Vice Chairman of the People's Council of Da Nang City - informed that not only owning a strategic position in the Central region, Da Nang plays a key role in connecting the East - West Economic Corridor (EWEC).

In addition, Da Nang possesses modern transportation - logistics infrastructure with 3 deep-water seaports, 2 international airports, Nam Giang international border port, 2 world cultural heritages, 1 world biosphere reserve recognized by UNESCO, quality human resources and a favorable investment environment.

Notably, after the merger, Da Nang is rapidly transforming with a series of large-scale infrastructure projects opening up strong potential for urban expansion, industrial development and high-value real estate.
