According to the Lam Dong Provincial Department of Construction, in the period 2025-2030, the province is assigned to complete a total of 14,502 social housing units. In 2026 alone, the province sets a target of completing 2,184 units, higher than the target of 1,787 units assigned by the Government.
Currently, social housing projects are concentrated in 5 areas including Ham Kiem 1 Industrial Park, Ham Kiem 2 Industrial Park, Phu Thinh social housing apartment complex, Phu Hoi Industrial Park and An Son social housing project serving resettlement. Projects are being accelerated.
On September 20, the Department of Construction of Lam Dong province publicly announced information on receiving applications to buy social housing at the Ham Kiem 1 Industrial Park Social Housing Area Project.
The project is located in Tuyen Quang commune, Lam Dong province, and is a noteworthy source of supply for workers working in industrial parks and surrounding areas.
According to the public list, there are 458 social housing units put on the sales list. The area of the units ranges from about 77.6m2 to 114.99m2. Most units have an area of about 78-98m2.
The selling price is determined by apartment. The lowest level in the list is 613 million VND for an apartment with an area of 77.92m2. Some apartments with an area of 114.99m2 are priced at over 1.48 billion VND.
According to the announcement of the Department of Construction, the time to receive purchase registration dossiers is until the end of October 16, 2026.
The introduction of 458 social housing units to receive applications is being implemented in the context that the province is promoting the development of housing supply for workers.
For workers, a stable place of residence is meaningful not only in reducing the pressure of rent costs but also in helping them feel secure at work, stabilize their lives and be attached to the business for a long time.
When housing is concerned along with jobs, workers' housing problem will have more conditions to be gradually solved.
