On September 18, the Department of Construction of Dak Lak province informed that the unit is continuing to accelerate the implementation of social housing projects. Thereby creating conditions for low-income workers to settle down and work.
Some projects with notable scale include social housing projects in Phuoc Hau neighborhood, Binh Kien ward, about 690 units; projects in residential area Km4-5, Tan An ward, about 90 units; social housing projects for officers and soldiers of the Provincial Police - Thanh Nhat ward (phase 1), about 454 units.
An Phu Social Housing Area project, Tuy Hoa city (now Binh Kien ward), scale of about 2,270 units; Tran Phu North Social Housing Area project, Ward 9, Tuy Hoa city (now Tuy Hoa ward), scale of about 506 units.
The implementation of these projects is expected to significantly contribute to supplementing the supply of social housing, meeting the needs of low-income people, workers, armed forces and groups entitled to housing support policies.
In 2026, Dak Lak province has made clearer preparations for leadership and direction as well as support mechanisms for investors to implement social housing projects.
Mr. Le Hung - Deputy Director of Dak Lak Department of Construction said that in the coming time, the province determines that developing social housing, worker dormitories and facilities serving workers is one of the important tasks of social security policy.
Based on the actual needs of people and workers and the development orientation of industrial parks, industrial clusters, economic zones, and urban areas in the area, the province will focus on implementing many key groups of solutions.
According to Mr. Hung, for new industrial parks, the demand for worker accommodation will be calculated right from the planning and investment preparation stages, aiming to limit the situation where industrial parks develop first but housing and essential services for workers must be handled later.
Within the scope of budget balancing capacity and legal regulations on public investment, the province will prioritize and integrate resources to invest in essential technical infrastructure projects that are connected to the social housing development area.
Thereby, improving the efficiency of land fund use and reducing investment costs for projects. The province also continues to implement and improve the "green channel" mechanism for social housing projects that do not use public investment capital, identifying this as a priority area in resolving administrative procedures.
The province will coordinate with Trade Union organizations, industrial park infrastructure businesses, manufacturing businesses and investors to review land funds, mobilize legitimate resources, and study appropriate institutional models for each region.
The province's goal is not only to complete the target for the number of social housing units assigned, but also to form quality housing areas with synchronous technical and social infrastructure, suitable for the affordability and actual needs of workers," Mr. Hung affirmed.
