According to records of Lao Dong Newspaper reporters in the last days of August 2026, the demolition and dismantling of the project within the project to renovate and expand alley 381 Nguyen Khang (Cau Giay ward, Hanoi) has been basically completed.
Most of the waste within the project has been moved. The remaining volume is expected to continue to be moved in the near future to serve the relocation of technical infrastructure and project construction.

Ms. Tran Thi Ha (living in alley 381 Nguyen Khang) said that she has been waiting for many years for the project to be completed so that traffic is more convenient and the urban face is also spacious and clean.
For so many years, roads have been damaged, degraded, and congested continuously, making people extremely miserable. In the near future, when the project is completed, the lives of people here will have many positive changes" - Ms. Ha said.




The project to renovate and expand alley 381 Nguyen Khang is about 340m long, connecting the planned Thanh Thai road with Nguyen Khang road.
The total area of land recovered for the project is about 7,328.2m2, involving 103 organizations, households, and individuals.
To date, 100% of organizations, households, and individuals have agreed to hand over the site.
Cau Giay Ward awarded commendation decisions to 5 collectives and 59 individuals with achievements in site clearance for the project to renovate and expand alley 381 Nguyen Khang.
The project construction is expected to be deployed from September and completed in 2026.


According to the People's Committee of Cau Giay ward, alley 381 Nguyen Khang has a small cross-section, degraded infrastructure, and frequent congestion during peak hours, directly affecting the travel and daily life of people and the operation of agencies and schools in the area.
After completing the expansion, alley 381 Nguyen Khang has a cross-section of 21.5m, expected to contribute to improving people's travel conditions, reducing congestion; opening up a new development space, connecting Cau Giay Cultural Space, Thanh Thai pedestrian street, creating more conditions for socio-economic development of Cau Giay ward in particular and Hanoi City in general.
