Quang Ngai - The province's revenue from land use fees is still low, including revenue from real estate business projects.

On August 18, the Land Fund Development Center of Quang Ngai province said that it is reviewing dossiers and soon putting up for auction land plots that meet the conditions to increase land use fees.

Revenue from land use fees is one of the important revenue sources, contributing to the socio-economic development of the province.

In 2026, the Provincial People's Council assigned a target and estimated revenue of VND 3,328 billion. As of August 14, 2026, total land use fee revenue in the province reached nearly VND 1,150 billion, equal to 34.4% of the assigned estimate.

The progress of land use fee collection is still low compared to the plan, especially provincial budget revenue.

Since the beginning of the year, Quang Ngai has mainly focused on compensation and site clearance for key projects.

Projects being implemented include: Mang Den eco-tourism urban area; Project to exploit land fund to develop road infrastructure for residential areas north of former Kon Tum City; Urban embellishment investment project, creating land fund to implement the planning of a tourist - eco-tourism urban area combined with sports in Dak Ro Wa commune, former Kon Tum City.

Quang Ngai expects that when the projects go into operation, they will create a new urban face, while contributing more budget revenue to the province.
