On October 16, T&T Group said that the project was proposed to be implemented in Hung Nguyen and Lam Thanh communes, under the 1/2000 scale zoning plan of the Southwest Urban Area of Vinh City (old). Of which, the area in Hung Nguyen commune is about 218ha, Lam Thanh commune is about 18.7ha.
According to T&T Group, the project's goal is to develop a modern urban area, synchronous with technical and social infrastructure, ensuring land use indicators in accordance with approved planning. The total estimated investment capital is about VND 33,700 billion, with implementation period from 2025 to 2030.
The enterprise proposes a form of selecting investors through bidding using land according to the provisions of the law on bidding. At the same time, T&T recommends that the Provincial People's Committee direct relevant agencies to promptly complete legal procedures so that member enterprises or units can prepare documents to propose investment policies, moving towards organizing bidding to select investors to implement the project.
Nghe An Provincial People's Committee has assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment and the authorities of Hung Nguyen and Lam Thanh communes to study and consider the proposal of T&T Group.
Previously, in March 2018, T&T Group and Nghe An Provincial People's Committee signed a memorandum of understanding on investment cooperation in the 1/2000 scale Zoning Plan for the Southwest Urban Area of Vinh City. This planning was approved by the Provincial People's Committee in Decision No. 191/QD-UBND dated January 20, 2022.
In Nghe An, T&T Group is also implementing a Cultural Tourism Area project under the "Special National Monument of President Ho Chi Minh Memorial Site", with a total investment of more than 1,735 billion VND on an area of 43 hectares. The project includes a commercial service area, a cultural center, an agricultural conservation experimental area and tree items, landscape, transportation, etc.
In addition, Nghe An province also sponsored the design and investment of a 9-storey waterfall project in the tomb of Ms. Hoang Thi Loan - the mother of President Ho Chi Minh.
