On April 21, the Department of Construction of Khanh Hoa province said that it had requested the construction contractor of the CT-02 social housing project (An Binh Tan urban area) to implement noise reduction solutions to avoid affecting surrounding residential areas.
Accordingly, the Housing and Real Estate Market Management Department under the Department of Construction has worked with the investor to remind and request the application of noise reduction measures during construction.
Through exchanges, functional agencies recorded that the investor wished to speed up the project progress, leading to construction generating noise and affecting people's lives.
The Department of Construction of Khanh Hoa province affirmed the view of creating conditions for businesses to implement projects in accordance with regulations, but construction must ensure harmony of interests between investors and residents in the area.
Previously, on April 8, the inter-sectoral inspection team of Nam Nha Trang Ward People's Committee directly inspected the project after receiving people's reflections on prolonged construction day and night, including lunch breaks and nights, affecting daily life.
At the time of inspection, the project had been licensed for construction from January 2026 and was deploying pile boring, reinforcement construction, and pile concrete pouring.
The representative of the investor is Mr. Nguyen Tien Nghi - General Director of MK Holdings Investment Co., Ltd.; the construction unit is Mr. Dao Ngoc Vuong - Deputy Director of Minh An Construction Investment Joint Stock Company.
Representatives of the investor and contractor said that the project is organized to be constructed in 3 shifts per day. In which, drilling piles, especially the stage of bringing soil and rocks up, shaking and shaking the girder, has generated loud noise, affecting surrounding households.
After receiving feedback, the construction unit adjusted measures to minimize noise, and at the same time committed to stopping construction during lunch breaks and nights. According to the plan, the pile boring item will have about 95 piles left and is expected to be completed in about 10 days.
The Economic, Infrastructure and Urban Department of Nam Nha Trang ward requested the investor and contractor to construct within the prescribed time frame, not to construct during the lunch break (11:30 - 13:30) and after 10 PM, and at the same time to cover the project, minimizing dust and noise affecting the residential area.
