Approving the auction of 9 service and commercial land plots in Lai Chau

Lai Chau - The Provincial People's Committee has just approved the auction of 9 commercial and service land plots, with a starting price of over 14 billion VND.

On August 19, according to PV's investigation, Lai Chau Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 1797/QD-UBND approving the starting price for auctioning the right to use 9 commercial and service land plots in the province in 2026.

Among these, 7 land plots located in the commercial area adjacent to Le Loi Avenue, Tan Phong ward, have an area from 224.2m2 to 338.6m2.

Specific land prices are determined at 6.006 million VND/m2. The starting price of plots ranges from about 1.34 billion VND to more than 2.03 billion VND. Plot No. 60 has the highest starting price in the group, with more than 2.03 billion VND.

Land plot No. 95 in Group 9, Tan Phong ward has an area of 1,120m2, adjacent to Dong Khoi street and Bao An enterprise. The approved starting price is 1.38 billion VND.

In Doan Ket ward, the land plot for building the Procuracy (old), adjacent to Tran Hung Dao street, has an area of 501.7m2. The land price is determined to be 4.25 million VND/m2, the starting price is more than 2.13 billion VND - the highest among 9 plots.

According to Lai Chau Provincial People's Committee, all 9 land plots are in position 1 according to the land price list.

The Provincial Land Fund Development Center is assigned to complete dossiers and procedures to organize land use right auctions according to regulations.
