According to records, up to now, 4 villas adjacent to Hung Vuong, Chua Mot Cot and Ba Huyen Thanh Quan streets (Ba Dinh ward, Hanoi) have been demolished to implement the Infrastructure Construction Project to serve the reception and propaganda work of the President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Management Board.
Speaking to Lao Dong Newspaper reporter, Mr. Le Tri Dung - Director of the Project Management Board (PMB) for investment and infrastructure in Ba Dinh Ward - said that the implementation of site clearance (GPMB) for 2/4 villas (including villa No. 4 Ba Huyen Thanh Quan and No. 25 Hung Vuong) was assigned by the city to the old Ba Dinh District to be implemented from 2021.
During the implementation of site clearance to expand Ba Dinh Square to the South, Mr. Dung held the position of Deputy Director of the Ba Dinh District Construction Investment Project Management Board.


Regarding villa No. 4 in Thanh Quan district (1,33 m2), Mr. Dung said that this is a state-owned house rented to 14 households for many years and used by an organization.
"When carrying out the site clearance work, we have considered all aspects to ensure that people enjoy the best benefits, within the scope of legal policies" - Mr. Dung said.
After that, the Construction Investment Project Management Board advised the People's Committee of Ba Dinh District, reported to the city to request mechanisms and policies and was approved by the city.
Ba Dinh District has urgently implemented tasks such as preparing technical records for land plots, investigating and surveying the current status of land, organizing meetings, mobilizing and propagating to households to create consensus.
On December 28, 2023, the People's Committee of Ba Dinh District issued 14 decisions to support and complete the site clearance of 14/14 households, and at the same time received the handover of real estate from an organization, Management Department A - Central Party Office.

For the villa (official house) No. 25 Hung Vuong, Ba Dinh District has complied with the direction of the City People's Committee to convert houses according to Decision No. 20.000/QD-UBND.
On October 22, 2024, Ba Dinh District completed the site clearance for villa No. 25 Hung Vuong, with an area of 925 m2.
Immediately after receiving 2 houses and land in the area south of Ba Dinh Square, the district urgently deployed security and order work for the houses and land.
At the same time, coordinate with the city's departments and branches to work with the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Command (formerly the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection Command) on the handover of the two above-mentioned real estate facilities.
By April 28, 2025, Ba Dinh District will complete the handover of 2 houses and land at 4 Ba Huyen Thanh Quan and 25 Hung Vuong to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Command to receive, manage and implement the project in accordance with the direction of the Prime Minister.
Regarding the 2 villas at No. 66 and 6B Chua Mot Col Street 1,014 m2 and 740 m2 respectively) under the management of the Government Office, Mr. Dung said that the site clearance work was also implemented according to plan and ensured progress.
According to the Ministry of National Defense, the expansion of Ba Dinh Square and the reorganization of auxiliary spaces will serve visitors and political and cultural events, including parades and parades to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the upcoming National Day on September 2.
