At the main bridge point, Hai Phong City attached the political -administrative center and the City Convention - Conference Center. The City Political - Administrative Center project is located in the Northern River Urban Area (Thuy Nguyen City, Hai Phong). The building consists of 14 blocks of houses, symmetrical designs in two axes North - South and East - West with 4 blocks of 3 -storey houses, 4 blocks of 4 -storey houses, 4 blocks of 5 5 -storey houses and 2 15 -storey blocks. The construction works on a total area of about 29,035 m2, of which, the floor area is about 89,500 m2.
The City Conference - Exhibition Center is a unique architectural symbol of the city, a multi-purpose complex integrated with synchronous, modern utilities, with diverse areas and capacity. The project has a scale of 3 floors and 1 basement, with a total floor area of about 49,612 m2.
Hai Phong City broke ground on the project to invest in the construction and business of infrastructure of Trang Due 3 Industrial Park with a scale of 652.73 hectares, with a total investment of more than VND 8,000 billion. The project is oriented to attract businesses in the high-tech sector, creating a chain linking the electronics - electric vehicles industry, and environmentally friendly supporting industries. Thereby, expanding Hai Phong industrial space, demonstrating a long-term vision in leading the wave of high-quality investment, creating many new jobs for local workers, contributing to promoting sustainable economic growth and mentioning Hai Phong on the global industrial map.
On the same day, Hai Phong City started the project to expand the aircraft parking lot - Cat Bi International Airport (phase 2) with a total investment of 1,151 billion VND, built on an area of 13.68 hectares.
The investment project to build a new urban area in Duong Kinh district and Kien Thuy district was started with a total investment of more than 23 trillion VND, with a scale of more than 240 hectares.
The city also started the project to build a social housing area in Dong Hai 2 ward, Hai An district with a scale of 22.4 hectares; inaugurated the Singapore International Education Complex Project in Vinh Niem ward, Le Chan district, with a scale of 3.04 hectares, with a total investment of about 360 billion VND; inaugurated the Project of Housing for Workers of Pegatron Vietnam Co., Ltd. phase 1 with an area of 5.04 hectares, with a total investment of up to 68.3 million USD, equivalent to about 1,600 billion VND.
simultaneously, on the afternoon of May 11, Hai Phong City opened technical traffic routes for traffic routes under the model new rural construction program of Dai Hop commune, Kien Thuy district with a total investment of nearly 105.6 billion VND, building 21 routes with a total length of nearly 11 km.
The city launched the Tien Cuong 2 Industrial Cluster Infrastructure Investment and Construction Project in Tien Cuong 2 Industrial Cluster in Tien Cuong Commune, Tien Lang District with an area of over 50 hectares, with a total investment of nearly 700 billion VND; attached a signboard for the Investment Project to build Nam Cau Binh Intersection Park with an area of 2.2 hectares, with an investment capital of 134.6 billion VND. Along with that, the 5-star hotel construction project in So Dau ward, Hong Bang district, 30 floors high, with a design target of 5-star hotel standards with the number of rooms being 343, corresponding to about 686 beds, was started.
