The People's Committee of Phu Tho province has just issued a document directing agencies and units to verify and handle the case of a wood press factory of KD Wood Joint Stock Company (KD Wood factory) operating in the residential area of Tho Son, Doan Hung town, Doan Hung district.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee issued an opinion that assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to assume the prime responsibility for, and coordinate with the provincial Police, the People's Committee of Doan Hung district inspected the electronic labor newspaper to reflect the wooden pellet factory of KD Wood Joint Stock Company that caused environmental pollution, affecting people's lives.
At the same time, the enterprise is required to immediately stop the above activities; propose handling the responsibilities of relevant organizations and individuals; report to the Provincial People's Committee before May 20, 2025.
