To celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), Hung Yen province will officially start the Thai Binh General Hospital Project with a scale of 1,200 beds. This is a key medical project with a total investment of thousands of billions of VND, expected to create a breakthrough in improving the quality of people's health care.
The project has an overall scale including: functional buildings, auxiliary items, shared technical infrastructure, medical equipment systems and modern technology. The goal is to build a special provincial-level general hospital, contributing to solving the current overload situation, while completing the network of medical facilities according to the province's development plan for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050.
Currently, the Project Management Board is urgently completing the documents, selecting a contractor and preparing the site to be ready to start construction on August 19.
Mr. Le Hoang Oanh - Deputy Director of the Hung Yen Provincial Investment and Construction Project Management Board No. 2 said that the board is preparing for the groundbreaking ceremony to be held solemnly, meaningfully, in accordance with the plan and direction of the Provincial People's Committee.
