According to this decision, Ms. Dinh Thi Da Thao, Deputy Chief of Office in charge of the Provincial People's Committee Office, is assigned to be the Head of the Group; Mr. Le Van Cuong, Head of the Organization and Government Department, Department of Home Affairs, is assigned to be the Deputy Head of the Group. Members are representatives of departments and branches of the province.
Mr. Nguyen Kim Long - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee participates in supervising and comprehensively directing the activities of the Drafting Committee.
The drafting team has the task of assisting the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee in organizing research and development of the Project to establish Dong Nai city directly under the Central Government, ensuring strictness, compliance with regulations, and closeness to the actual situation of the province.
Comprehensive review of conditions and standards according to current regulations on standards for provincial-level administrative units that are centrally-run cities; classification of administrative units; urban classification; system of commune-level administrative units directly under the authority, especially ward standards, urbanization rate, technical infrastructure, social infrastructure and other related criteria.
The drafting team implemented the drafting of relevant documents and dossiers including: Submission on the establishment of Dong Nai city directly under the Central Government; Project on the establishment of Dong Nai city directly under the Central Government.
Previously, on February 27, the People's Council of Dong Nai province, term X, 2021-2026, held the 10th session (specialized session) and voted to approve the Resolution adjusting the planning of Dong Nai province for the period 2021-2030.
The scope of planning adjustment includes the entire administrative boundaries of Dong Nai province with a total natural area of more than 12,700 km2, including 95 commune-level administrative units (72 communes and 23 wards).
