Previously, in 2025, the Provincial People's Committee approved a project to train and develop local human resources to serve Long Thanh International Airport in the period 2024-2026, with orientation to 2030 in the province.
The project's objective is to organize training and support in finding jobs at the airport (inside and outside the airport) for workers permanently residing in Dong Nai province by 2030, about 4,800 people. In which, there is a consensus on the mechanism to prioritize recruiting local workers to work at Long Thanh airport (on the basis of meeting recruitment standards according to aviation industry regulations).
In the period 2024 - 2026, training to attract and provide sufficient human resources for industries and job positions directly serving airport operations, including specialties such as: Airport management, aviation security protection, airport operation and exploitation, maintenance techniques and customer support services. In which, priority is given to workers from households whose land is recovered to implement the Long Thanh airport project...
Also according to the project, it is forecast that the demand for personnel and labor to serve the construction and operation of Long Thanh airport phase 1 for the locality with a total labor demand of 13,769 workers.
