The Department of Construction of Bac Ninh province has just issued a notice publicly announcing information on social housing project No. 1 in zone No. 5, No. 9 of the Southern urban area, Bac Giang city (now Bac Giang ward and Tan Tien ward, Bac Ninh province).
The project is invested and built on 2 land plots with a total land area of about 14,466m2, building 2 social housing buildings (CT1 and CT2) 17 and 19 stories high.
Functional spaces in the buildings include: Parking space (located in the basement); business and commercial service space (maximum 20% of the total floor area of the project); apartments; community, public, and technical living spaces serving the entire building and the technical system of the project; items of external technical infrastructure systems.
The number of apartments in the project is 1,094 apartments for sale. The selling price of apartments belonging to CT1 housing project (temporary estimate) is about 21 - 22 million VND/m2. The official price will be approved by the investor according to current regulations.
The expected time to start receiving project registration dossiers is from July 15, 2026 to August 30, 2026.
It is known that Bac Ninh is one of the leading localities in the country in terms of social housing development results. In 2025, the province completed nearly 20,000 social housing units, accounting for about 20% of the country's total supply.
In 2026, the province is assigned a target of 19,000 units, higher than Hanoi, but the province sets a target to continue to complete over 20,000 units.
Currently, the construction of social housing in Bac Ninh province continues to take place strongly and comprehensively across all subjects.
In particular, Bac Ninh province started construction of the first social housing building for the Police force and is expected to soon start the next project for the Army force.
