Recovering 118 hectares of land in Binh Phuoc ward to build a highway

Dong Nai - Binh Phuoc Ward People's Committee is accelerating the progress of site clearance and land recovery for the expressway project running through the area.

On July 15, the People's Committee of Binh Phuoc ward coordinated with the Dong Nai City Land Fund Development Center - Dong Xoai branch to inspect the progress of site handover and land recovery for the Gia Nghia - Chon Thanh expressway project section passing through Binh Phuoc ward.

At the working session, the delegation inspected the current status at the land recovery area in Tien Hung 3 neighborhood. Here, there are 5,000 m2 of recovered land that has been completed, handed over the site and cut down crops, cleared the current status to serve construction according to the plan.

According to the People's Committee of Binh Phuoc ward, the expressway project section passing through Binh Phuoc ward has a total length of 13.8 km. Of which, 858 land plots of organizations, households, and individuals must be recovered to serve the project with an area of 118.74 ha. Currently, about 100 ha have been handed over, reaching about 84%.

In the coming time, leaders of Binh Phuoc Ward People's Committee requested specialized units to continue to coordinate, focus on removing difficulties, and accelerate the progress of compensation and support. At the same time, mobilize the remaining cases to hand over land soon, ensuring project implementation progress.

It is known that the Gia Nghia - Chon Thanh expressway project has a total length of 124 km, including the section through Dong Nai city, 101 km long, and Lam Dong province, 23 km long. The section belonging to Dong Nai city, passing through 10 communes and wards, needs to recover 921 hectares. Currently, the site handed over to the project has reached about 80%.
