According to Tan Khanh Ward People's Committee (HCMC), in the ward, there are 494 households and 9 organizations affected when implementing the Suoi Cai dredging and reinforcement project. The total land area in the ward that needs to be recovered for project implementation is 613,465 m2. Up to now, the issuance of land recovery notices for 503 cases has been completed, reaching a rate of 100%. At the same time, units have also completed the measurement and inventory of land and assets attached to land.
Functional agencies have approved compensation and support plans for 503 households, with an amount of 1,509.9 billion VND, reaching a rate of 100%. Regarding compensation and support payments, 473 cases have been paid, with a total amount of 1,469.4 billion VND. The handover and land recovery rate reached 88.8%.
According to the Ward People's Committee, ward leaders have directly met with the remaining households to propagate and mobilize consensus on the policy of compensation and handover of land for project implementation.
Leaders of Tan Khanh Ward People's Committee also listened to and recorded the thoughts, aspirations and recommendations of each household. The ward hopes that households will share and accompany the locality, soon agree on compensation plans and hand over land.
In the coming time, specialized agencies of Tan Khanh ward will continue to review, guide and resolve contents under their authority in accordance with regulations to recover land. All compensation and support regimes are implemented publicly, fully, and in accordance with regulations, ensuring the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of the people.

It is known that the project to dredge and reinforce Suoi Cai section from Tho Ut bridge to Dong Nai river is invested by the Ho Chi Minh City Urban Infrastructure Project Management Board with a total investment of more than 5,892 billion VND. The project has a length of nearly 19 km passing through Binh Duong ward, Tan Hiep ward and Tan Khanh ward. Currently, Binh Duong ward and Tan Hiep ward are about to complete land acquisition. The construction of packages about 6 km long through these two localities is also about to be completed.
