Land acquisition of 125 cases to build North-South 3 road in Ho Chi Minh City

Ho Chi Minh City - Dong Hoa Ward People's Committee is carrying out procedures to recover land in 125 cases to build North-South 3 road.

Dong Hoa Ward People's Committee said that the locality is implementing a draft plan for compensation, support and resettlement for the construction of North-South 3 road, the section from DT 743A road to the East-West Main Road.

According to statistics, the project has a total land area expected to be recovered of 31,400 m2, affecting 125 cases. Among them, there are 113 cases of direct land recovery, 4 cases of buying and selling by handwritten papers and 8 cases of having assets on other people's land. The total land area recovered from organizations, households and individuals is 26,690 m2; traffic land area is 4,798 m2.

According to Dong Hoa Ward People's Committee, in case households are completely cleared of residential land and have no other place to live in the ward, they will be considered for resettlement arrangement. The resettlement arrangement is in Lo O Resettlement Area, people will draw lots to receive land plots. At the same time, households who have to relocate will also be supported to stabilize their lives and rent during the time waiting to receive resettlement land.

Dong Hoa Ward People's Committee has contacted people to get their opinions. People hope that the plan will be approved soon to receive compensation money and arrange resettlement to stabilize their lives.

According to the plan, in June 2026, the plan will be approved and in early July 2026, the Compensation Council will proceed to pay compensation and support money to the people.

It is known that the North-South 3 road construction project has a length of about 1.73 km with a total investment of over 1,085 billion VND. The project is invested from now until 2027.
