On May 7, news from the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province said that the locality has issued a notice of land recovery for Trung Nam Development Investment Joint Stock Company to implement the Seafood Purchase, Business and Processing Area project in Ca Na commune.
Accordingly, the recovered land area is 23,190m2, belonging to land plot No. 550, cadastral map sheet No. 28-c in Ca Na commune, Khanh Hoa province (formerly Ca Na commune, Thuan Nam district, Ninh Thuan province).
This land area was previously leased by Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Committee to Trung Nam Investment and Development Joint Stock Company under Decision No. 322 in 2015 to implement the Seafood Purchase, Business and Processing Area project.
The reason for the recovery was determined to be due to violations of land law according to the provisions of the 2024 Land Law.
Previously, in 2019, functional agencies of Ninh Thuan province (old) had an inspection conclusion related to the management and use of the above-mentioned land area.
Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee requests Trung Nam Investment Development Joint Stock Company and related organizations and individuals to handle assets on recovered land within a period of no more than 45 days from the date of receiving the land recovery notice.
At the same time, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Khanh Hoa province is assigned the responsibility of transferring land recovery notices to enterprises, confirming the time when enterprises receive notices and monitoring and advising the Provincial People's Committee to carry out land recovery procedures in accordance with legal regulations.
According to the notice, within 15 days from the end of the time limit for handling assets on land, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee will issue a decision to recover land and organize implementation according to regulations.
In case the land user does not comply, the functional agency will proceed to enforce the land recovery decision according to legal regulations.
