The progress of social housing projects in Ho Chi Minh City is attracting workers. Notably, the social housing project (old Chanh My ward, Thu Dau Mot city, now Chanh Hiep ward, Ho Chi Minh City) invested by the Housing and Urban Development Investment Corporation (HUD Corporation).
The project started construction in September 2022, building 6 12-storey blocks with 978 apartments.
According to records, after nearly 3 years of implementation, the project has so far built 3/6 blocks.

Phase 1 is the construction of 3 blocks A4, A5 and C. Currently, these blocks have been topped out and are in the completion stage.
HUD Corporation said that 456 apartments in the 3 buildings are being completed. It is expected that from now until December 2025, the house will be accepted.
Regarding legality, HUD Corporation said that the project has been approved for investment policy, granted a land use right certificate, appraised and approved for feasibility study report, construction drawings, and fire prevention and fighting approval. The project has also issued a document confirming the eligibility to sell future housing for 456 apartments.

The investor also said that the selling price of social housing apartments is nearly 17 million VND/m2 including VAT and maintenance costs. The smallest apartment is 38.5m2, the average apartment is 51.2m2, the largest apartment is 67.5m2.
Employees who are eligible to buy can register to buy and pay in 8 installments. It is expected that the house will be handed over in the first quarter of 2026.
Employees who buy this social housing project will be able to borrow from banks with preferential interest rates according to regulations up to 80% of the value of the house purchase contract.
