Information from Do Son ward, this morning, in the land area of Hai Phong Public Works Company, items within the scope of site clearance are being demolished and cleared, gradually creating ground for project implementation.
The project to expand Ly Thai To road in Zone I Do Son and develop the surrounding area approved by Hai Phong City People's Committee has a total investment of 300.584 billion VND from the city budget.
The scale of the Project is site clearance for the surrounding area with an area of about 5.072 ha; investment in expanding Ly Thai To street (section from 15/5 Square to Van Bun intersection, Doi Rong project gate), with a length of 1,341 m.
According to Do Son ward, the expansion of Ly Thai To street and urban embellishment of Zone 1 and embellishment and dismantling of degraded works not only contribute to renewing the appearance of Do Son tourist area in a clean, beautiful, and civilized direction, but also create a clear space, ready to implement the Ly Thai To street expansion project, gradually complete infrastructure, improve the quality of tourism space, and meet development requirements in the new phase.
When completed, the road will contribute to completing traffic infrastructure, urban embellishment, strengthening connectivity of tourist and service areas; expanding development space and creating a spacious and modern appearance for Do Son.
Identifying site clearance as an important task, of decisive significance for the project progress, Do Son ward is focusing on coordinating with relevant agencies and units to accelerate the work; and at the same time strengthen propaganda, mobilization, dialogue, and create consensus among the people. Up to now, many organizations, households, and individuals with land and assets within the project scope have actively handed over the site, contributing to accelerating the project implementation progress.
