The project to invest in building a resettlement area to serve site clearance in Do Son ward and Nam Do Son ward has a total investment of 456.039 billion VND from the city budget. The project is implemented in the period 2025 - 2027 with a land use area of about 16.83 ha in Do Son ward and Nam Do Son ward.
The project invests in a synchronous technical infrastructure system, including leveling ground, roads, retaining walls, rainwater drainage system, wastewater drainage, water supply, electricity supply, lighting, telecommunications, fire prevention and fighting and wastewater treatment station.
In the overall, Package No. 12 Construction of the Do Son Ward Resettlement Area project has a particularly important position, directly implementing the construction of the Do Son Ward Resettlement Area project. The commencement of the package marks an important shift from investment preparation to organizing construction on the ground, gradually turning the planning, investment policy and project objectives into specific works.
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, leaders of the Hai Phong Civil and Industrial Construction Investment Project Management Board committed to focusing the highest effort on management and administration; strengthening inspection and supervision; strictly controlling progress, quality, costs, safety and investment efficiency. The Management Board will closely coordinate with departments, agencies, local authorities, consulting units and contractors; proactively remove difficulties and obstacles, and resolutely prevent subjective causes from affecting the progress and quality of the project.
Representing the leaders of Do Son ward, Mr. Nguyen Quang Dien - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Ward People's Committee said: The project must recover about 120,000 m2 in the ward, related to 1 organization and 129 households. Over the past time, Do Son ward has focused on coordinating with agencies and units to inventory, prepare and approve compensation and support plans. Up to now, 2 plans have been approved, with a total budget of 75.8 billion VND, an area of 96,411.5 m2. The ward strives to complete site clearance for the remaining area in September 2026, ensuring the site to serve the implementation of the next items of the project.
