The Tan Thuan Ward Construction Investment Project Management Board has just announced the deployment of surveys and collection of legal information on land and assets of households and organizations subject to recovery in Quarter 2 and Quarter 35 to serve compensation, support, and resettlement for the Thu Thiem 4 bridge project.
According to the plan, surveying, measuring and counting will be carried out from August 3 to the end of August 20, 2026.
Households subject to land acquisition are requested to arrange representatives to be present at the scene according to the announced time to coordinate with the working group to carry out measurement and inventory.
At the same time, people need to prepare relevant documents such as land use right certificates, citizen identification cards, construction permits and other legal documents to serve the verification of land and asset origin.

The Thu Thiem 4 bridge project has a total length of about 2.16 km, of which the bridge section is more than 1.6 km long. The project is designed with a scale of 8 lanes, including 6 motorized lanes and 2 mixed lanes, with a navigation clearance of 15 m.
The starting point of the project is on Nguyen Van Linh street, the area intersecting with Tan Thuan 2 bridge (Tan Thuan ward), while the ending point connects to Nguyen Co Thach street - North-South axis of Thu Thiem New Urban Area (An Khanh ward).

The project has a total estimated investment of about 5,063 billion VND, using entirely Ho Chi Minh City budget capital and is divided into two component projects.
In which, the compensation, support and resettlement project has a total capital of about 1,385 billion VND, recovering about 16.7 hectares of land. A total of 136 households are affected; of which 73 cases must be completely cleared.
The bridge construction part has a total investment of about 3,678 billion VND.

According to the plan, compensation and site clearance will be completed in 2026 so that the project can start construction at the end of 2026 and be completed in the fourth quarter of 2028.
After being put into operation, Thu Thiem 4 bridge helps shorten the connecting distance from the East area (Thu Duc City, Binh Thanh before) to the South area (Districts 7, 8, Nha Be, Binh Chanh before).

The project is also expected to contribute to reducing traffic pressure on many existing roads and intersections such as Ton Duc Thang, Nguyen Tat Thanh, Khanh Hoi bridge, Huynh Tan Phat - Luu Trong Lu - Ben Nghe intersections, Huynh Tan Phat - Nguyen Van Linh and Tan Thuan Industrial Park area.
Besides its traffic significance, Thu Thiem 4 bridge is expected to create momentum for the development of urban space in the South, strengthen connectivity with Thu Thiem New Urban Area, attract investment, develop trade - services, tourism and contribute to promoting socio-economic growth of Ho Chi Minh City in the coming period.
