On the afternoon of July 2nd, information from the People's Committee of Le Ich Moc ward, the Department of Construction, Agriculture and Environment is preparing a dossier for handling, proposing the Chairman of the Ward People's Committee to issue a decision to sanction administrative violations against households building illegal works.
Previously, at about 10 pm on June 30, during the inspection of the area, the working group of Le Ich Moc Ward People's Committee discovered a case of Ms. T.T. N (Chinh My 4 residential group) committing violations of land law. Ms. T.N's household arbitrarily erected an iron frame, tiled a corrugated iron roof and poured concrete on the area belonging to land plot No. 1047, map sheet No. 13, with a total violating area of 57.4 m2, originating from land allocated for agricultural production according to Decision No. 03 of Hai Phong City People's Committee.
The above act violates the provisions of point a, clause 2, Article 8 of Decree No. 123/2024/ND-CP of the Government on sanctioning administrative violations in the field of land.
Immediately after discovering the incident, the Ward People's Committee directed functional forces to urgently be present at the scene, make a record of violation, request immediate termination of the violation, and at the same time propagate and explain the provisions of law on land management and use so that violators understand and comply.
At about 1:30 am on July 1, under the supervision of the working group, Ms. T.T. N voluntarily dismantled all violating works. After more than 3 hours from the time of discovery, all violating works have been handled and dismantled, contributing to promptly preventing acts of using land for wrong purposes right from the time they arose. The timely detection and handling of violations demonstrates the proactive and drastic spirit of the local government in state management of land, contributing to maintaining discipline and order in the area.
