Man United see Bryan Mbeumo as one of their top transfer targets, after signing Matheus Cunha from Wolves for £62.5 million. The Old Trafford team has sent two proposals to The Bees about the Cameroonian star's case but has been rejected.
The first offer was made in early June for £42.5m, plus £10m depending on Mbeumo's achievements at Man United. This number was almost immediately rejected by Brentford because they thought it was too small compared to the talent of the 25-year-old star.
The second offer, sent nearly two weeks later with a value of £55 million, plus £7.5 million in bonuses from the performance, also failed to meet Brentford's expectations. It seems that the London team wants a solid figure of 60 million pounds, not paying in installments and bonuses from achievements of about 5-7 million pounds.

While Man United are approaching Bryan Mbeumo, Tottenham Hotspur also intends to recruit this star. Spurs' current captain is Thomas Frank, who has worked with Mbeumo last season at Brentford. However, that was not enough for Tottenham to attract Mbeumo. The striker has told the Brentford board and Tottenham that he only wants to go to Man United.
However, up to now, there has been no official commitment between Man United and Brentford on the Mbeumo transfer. According to theory, if the deal is a problem, Mbeumo will still have to stay at G-tech Community until at least January 2026. This is also shared by the Brentford representative.
"We expect a lot of attention and actually have many offers for him. Mbeumo has a very clear view of what he wants to do and where the next stage in his career will end. This is normal because it is Mbeumo's career, he has the right to decide.
At this point, I don't know where Mbeumo will go next. After a great season, if he has a reasonable destination and this meets the financial requirements from Brentford, the club is very happy. However, if Mbeumo still plays here next season, I wouldn't be surprised by that," said Phil Giles, Brentford's director of football.

While it was reported that Bryan Mbeumo would complete all procedures to move to Man United this Friday, Phil Giles shared that he did not know how the deal was really taking place.
"I'm sitting here so I don't know what people are talking about. I don't expect anything too special because the current information is very disruptive, there may be many people who are very interested in it".
If the Mbeumo deal is completed, Man United will have a "number 10order" pair in good form in the Premier League last season. They only need 1-2 more contracts to be confident enough to compete for a ticket to play in the European Cup in the next season.
