On the afternoon of July 2, Politburo member, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh and Party Central Committee member, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh chaired a meeting with ministries, branches and functional agencies on the preparation and implementation of the organization of a national achievement exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day with the theme "80 years of the journey of Independence - freedom - Happiness" at the Vietnam Exhibition Center (Truong Sa Street, Dong Anh Commune, Hanoi City).
2025 is the occasion to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Vietnam's independence. This is an important milestone opening a time of special historical significance in the development process of the Vietnamese people.
Speaking at the meeting, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh emphasized that towards the 80th anniversary of National Day, we will have a series of events and the Exhibition will be one of the events in this series of events.
Every event or event organized has practical and important significance in promoting and introducing the image of the country and people of Vietnam.
In particular, the theme of the exhibition was chosen very meaningfully, exuding the purpose of the exhibition in honoring the 80th anniversary of the founding and protection of the Fatherland.
The exhibition also introduces outstanding achievements, promotes the image of the country and people of Vietnam, educates traditions and spreads the aspiration to rise up, the aspiration to develop.
Thereby contributing to building and consolidating the great national unity bloc, strengthening the people's trust in the leadership of the Party and the State, and the belief in the country's rapid development in the future.

To organize the exhibition, the Government sets very high requirements. Accordingly, the exhibition must be very rich, comprehensive in content, closely following the selected theme.
The methods of introducing to the public must be very diverse, including artifacts, paintings, and development achievements of digital products and digital platforms.
The Government also hopes that localities will select and introduce unique cultural features, local specialties as well as art programs.
Regarding the quality of organization, the Permanent Deputy Prime Minister stated that the exhibition must meet international quality and class requirements; after the Exhibition, it must leave a strong impression on viewers, not only domestically but also on international visitors.
After receiving the site areas for implementation, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh requested ministries, branches and localities to immediately start implementing tasks, ensuring the requirements set out in the goals.
The Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism synthesizes recommendations, proposals, and difficulties and problems of ministries, branches, and localities in the process of preparing and implementing the Exhibition to promptly handle, resolve, or propose solutions.
"The Government believes and puts great expectations on ministries, branches and localities so that we can have a truly impressive and convincing exhibition for domestic people and international tourists, thereby actively contributing to introducing achievements and images of the country and people of Vietnam" - said the Permanent Deputy Prime Minister.
