The draw for the play-off round of the 2024-2025 UEFA Champions League has determined the matchups.
In the new format for Europe's top club competition, the top eight teams from the 36 groups will advance directly to the round of 16. Teams ranked 9th to 24th will have to enter a play-off round to have a chance of staying in the tournament.
The most prominent matches are the confrontation between Man City and Real Madrid, Bayern Munich vs Celtic.
The teams play a two-legged play-off round. The overall winner after the two matches will secure the remaining eight spots in the round of 16.
Paris Saint-Germain will face Brest - both French sides, while Juventus will play PSV Eindhoven.
The first leg of the play-off round will take place on February 11 and 12, with the second leg taking place on February 18 and 19.
Liverpool, Arsenal and Aston Villa have already qualified for the last 16 thanks to their top eight finishes. They will find out their opponents in the next draw on 21 February.
