The draw for the round of 16, quarter-finals and semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League 2024-2025 will take place at 6:00 p.m. on February 21 in Nyon, Switzerland.
From the knockout round onwards, teams will be arranged in a group and know potential opponents in the round of 16, quarter-finals and semi-finals.
The branches are determined by the positions of the teams in the group stage. For example, Liverpool and Barcelona, the two leading teams, can only meet the teams ranked 15th, 16th, 17th or 18th (PSG, Benfica, Monaco or Brest) in the round of 16.
The top 8 teams in the group stage will be seeded for the round of 16, and will basically play the second leg at home.
After completing the draw for the round of 16, the organizing committee will continue to draw for the quarter-finals and semi-finals, only to determine which team is the host of the first and second leg, because all potential opponents have been determined until the final match.
