Arsenal have bounced back from the November international break with the return of captain Martin Odegaard from injury, improving the Gunners' form. Mikel Arteta's side won both games against Nottingham Forest (3-0) and Sporting CP (5-1).
The North London side are aiming to close the gap on leaders Liverpool. They are currently nine points behind the Reds and just one point behind Man City. A win over West Ham would see them return to second place in the table.
On the other side, West Ham will enter the North London derby with high confidence after a 2-0 win over Newcastle. Coach Julen Lopetegui's team is only ranked 14th in the rankings but is showing increasing improvement.
The Gunners are looking to get back into the title race and only a long winning streak will be enough to keep them competitive. With their excellent performances in the last two games, they will be a big threat to hosts West Ham.
