Napoli could give Alejandro Garnacho a chance to leave Manchester United. The Serie A side failed a £60m offer to Garnacho in January.
However, they have returned in the hope of eventually recruiting the young Argentine star for £45 million.
Man United are eager to eliminate Garnacho after the argument between him and coach Ruben Amorim at Old Trafford. The 20-year-old striker is one of five United players left out of pre-season training by Amorim after they asked him to leave.
Garnacho, Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Antony and Tyrell Malacia will not be trained with the "Red Devils" starting lineup until their futures are decided. Man United are pricing Garnacho at £60 million, but they know they will find it difficult to get that fee. Teams want to understand that the conflict between Garnacho and Amorim means Man United must sell the Argentine player.

It is known that Man United is still negotiating as they hope to soon reach an agreement with the reigning Serie A champions about Garnacho. Napoli wants Garnacho to partner former Manchester City superstar Kevin De Bruyne, who joined Diego Armando Maradona on a free transfer in early summer 2025.
In addition, Napoli's Scott McTominay, who was voted the best player of Serie A last season, was also Garnacho's former teammate at Old Trafford.
Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis believes Garnacho will improve even more after leaving Man United.
"Garnacho has speed, sophistication and potential. But that's not even the reason we want him. We want him because he is at Man United. If he leaves, he will become a player of double advantage. There was a mistake at Man United that I could not explain" - said the Napoli president.
Garnacho fell out with Amorim after being left out of the Man United starting lineup for last season's Europa League final loss to Tottenham. The Argentine star has publicly questioned Amorim's personnel decision and said he will assess his future this summer.

"It's obviously difficult for everyone. Our season was terrible. We have not won against anyone in the tournament. We lack a lot of things. When you don't score, you always need more.
Until reaching the Europa League final, I have played in all rounds. And today I only played for 20 minutes, I don't know. I will try to enjoy this summer and see what happens next" - Garnacho said with dissatisfaction after the Europa League final.
