The Premier League's 2026 summer transfer market is on track to break the spending record of 3 billion pounds set last summer. Opening the shopping wave was the transfer of Elliot Anderson to Manchester City for a fee of 116 million pounds, thereby becoming the most expensive English player in history. However, this record only lasted for a short time when Chelsea agreed to spend 117 million pounds to bring Morgan Rogers to Stamford Bridge.
